Huge statement indicating that everything could change between Kirby Dach and Nick Suzuki

Kirby Dach's recent performances are attracting more and more attention, especially at a time when the team is completely decimated by injuries.

Two of the players who are still healthy are Kirby Dach and Nick Suzuki, but there is only one of the two that stands out right now, and that is #77.

While on 98.5 Sports, former Habs player Max Lapierre made an intriguing statement involving Dach and the club's captain.




Wow that's a huge comment from the guy who has now become an analyst for TVA Sports.

It would have been a ridiculous statement a few weeks ago, but now it's hard to disagree with Max, especially since the ceiling on Dach's potential seems to be very high, especially with his massive frame.

What we see of the 21 year old forward right now suggests that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg of what he could become in the NHL one day. He has serious potential to become a Tage Thompson, a big center who can control the puck in tight spaces like few others in the NHL.

What a solid trade by Kent Hughes to bring a top-6 forward to the lineup.

Whether this comes true or not, the important thing is that the Habs will have two great players at the centre position who can support each other game after game. This is extremely promising for the future of the organization.
