In breaking news today, the Colorado Avalanche have placed forward Chris Wagner on waivers this afternoon ahead of game 2 versus the Winnipeg Jets.

A surprising roster move from the Colorado Avalanche took place today, as they placed Chris Wagner on waivers this afternoon. Wagner did not play in game 1 for the Avalanche, and has not played much at all this season for the team, appearing in only 13 games.






Wanger is a depth forward for the Avalanche who signed a deal this offseason to join the club. He scored just 1 goal and 1 assist in the 13 games he played for the Avs this season.

in 21 games for the Colorado Eagles AHL team, Wagner has 8 goals and 6 assists for 14 points. While it was unlikely that Wagner was going to play at all in the playoffs for the Avalanche, it appears that has been solidified.
