Owen Beck's call up is hiding some bad news
As we mentioned yesterday, prospect Owen Beck has been urgently recalled by the Montreal Canadiens. He will join the team in Ottawa, where he will probably be in uniform for his first career NHL game.
Even if his recall is a great news for the fans and himself, it hides something important. Christian Dvorak missed the end of the first period and the beginning of the second period in the last game and his health was in question.
We must also consider that Sean Monahan missed the last three practices of the team, which does not look good for a possible return.
It's impossible to know if Dvorak's injury is serious or if Monahan's return will have to wait, but the question is being asked.
