Maple Leafs Max Domi lands a cheapshot on Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman

Tonight during a television timeout the heat was turned up in the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs game. As Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman was skating to the bench he was met with an unexpected hit from Max Domi.

After a contentious beginning to the first period the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins were both looking to gain an edge on the other. Max Domi decided to try and do one of the things he does best and be a pest. To do so he took out Jeremy Swayman during a TV timeout.





In typical Bruins fashion, a teammate was not far away in Pat Maroon who went after Max Domi to protect his goalie.




No call was made on the ice but there has been speculation that this dirty act will not go unpunished by the Maple Leafs group.



With one period to go in a tied game, there is a great stage for some intense fireworks. Hopefully, the third period will live up to the hype this game has been building all night long.
