The insider Darren Dreger shared an update on William Nylander's health and his status for game four between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins.

After many contradicting informations were released regarding his status for game three, Nylander ended up missing his third straight game of the playoffs, and the Leafs lost 4-2.

Fortunately for Leafs fans, the fourth game of the series is set to go down on Saturday, giving players an extra day to prepare.

With Matthews dealing with an illness and Nylander inching closer to a return, hopes to see the Swede return on the next game are higher than ever.

According to Darren Dreger, he hasn't been ruled out for round one, and could come back as soon as Saturday.

"The Willy watch continues in Toronto as the Leafs hope to even their series with the Bruins on Saturday. Bobby McMann is also being evaluated daily and most definitely hasn't been ruled out for the series. Toronto misses his game, size and speed. Game 5 or 6?"

There's not doubt that the Leafs can win without him. However, his absence is hurting the team. His personality and energy make him one of the top assets of the team. He has the ability to make his teammates better and change the mood in the locker room. Coming off a 98-point season, the best tally of his career, he can also score goals, which is something the Leafs struggled to do in games one and three.
