There was a scary scene during tonight's game between the Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights after defenseman Haydn Fleury was stretchered off the ice.
As the Winnipeg Jets try and snap out of their lengthy losing streak, they'll have to do so without defenseman Haydn Fleury.
During tonight's game against the Vegas Golden Knights at CanadaLife Centre, Fleury slid awkwardly back-first into the boards, and was eventually taken off the ice on a stretcher.

He appeared to have been pushed into the boards by Keegan Kolesar of Vegas, who then dropped the gloves against Jets captain Adam Lowry as the play restarted.
Fleury has been limited to just 16 games so far this year, and has no points.
Haydn Fleury Is Playing In His Second Year In A Jets Sweater
Fleury was taken with the seventh overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes, where he would play until being traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2021 for Jani Hakanpaa and a sixth round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
He eventually was exposed in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft and taken by the Seattle Kraken, but would sign a two year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning after his first and only year in a Kraken sweater.
After signing a one year deal with the Jets in 2024, he would eventually be re-signed to a two year deal with an AAV (average annual value) of $1.9 million.
