Not so long ago, Josh Anderson was one of the Canadiens' untouchable players. For some time now, his inconsistency has been playing tricks on him and his inability to perform with the team's best forwards speaks for itself.

However, number 17 remains a rare commodity in the NHL. A true horse that combines speed and toughness, it does not run in the streets. That's why he's so often in the trade rumors, and Pierre LeBrun came to confirm it.
Indeed, as mentioned by Alexis Forget of danslescoulisses.com, LeBrun was on Hockey 360 before the game between the Habs and Avalanche. The latter confirms that Josh is the player most in demand by other teams and that Kent Hughes' phone keeps ringing about him.
LeBrun also mentions that Hughes is not really interested in trading the big winger and that he will wait for an offer that is impossible to refuse before it happens. Still according to the informant, it would be very surprising if Josh Anderson is traded during the current campaign.

One thing is certain, this is a rumour that will keep on catching fire as the season goes on.
