The Winnipeg Jets have placed defensemen Isaak Phillips and Tyrel Bauer on NHL waivers with the intention of assigning both of them to the Manitoba Moose.

The Winnipeg Jets placed defencemen Isaak Phillips and Tyrel Bauer on waivers with the intention of assigning them to the AHL's Manitoba Moose, which was first reported by NHL insider Murat Ates.
It is expected that both will clear waivers, as teams at this point in the season are looking to become roster compliant, so not many are usually claimed.
The Jets were not the only team waiving players today, as Brendan Brisson was placed on waivers by the Rangers, too, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.
