The Jets got some very good news today, as it was announced that goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is alright and not injured, and will get the start in goal tonight.

Winnipeg Jets fans, relax. Connor Hellebuyck came back as a full participant in the morning skate today after leaving practice early the day before when head coach Scott Arniel said he "didn't feel right."
Arniel confirmed the goalie will dress tonight against the Minnesota Wild as the starter.
That cannot be said of Dylan Samberg. The 26-year-old defenseman will miss six to eight weeks after his wrist was broken during Saturday's game against the Calgary Flames.

Dylan Samberg Will Only Return Towards the End of November at the Earliest

That took place in the second period, and while chances are good that Samberg might appear on the ice again in the latter part of November, his specific timeline will depend on the rehab process.
Samberg's loss is a huge hit for Winnipeg with only one week remaining in the preseason. His loss leaves a huge void on the blue line, and now the Jets are going to have to try to find someone on the roster, or maybe not on the roster, to fill the void.
For the Jets, the preseason already has its ups and downs. Having Hellebuyck on the ice again is a definite plus, but losing Samberg for the next while introduces fresh fears regarding depth and stability at defense.
Whether and how the team manages to bounce back from this in these final preseason games will play a gigantic factor in their beginning of the regular season.
