It's now official, one of the biggest free agent prospects at the end of the season, Bo Horvat, is officially on the trade market.

The Canucks captain has turned down his team's final offer, which means he wants to leave the organization, at the end of the season.

According to rumors, the 27-year-old center rejected an offer of eight years and $8M per season, for a total of $64M. According to the informant, Frank Seravalli, there is at least one team in the NHL that is willing to give him $9 million, on average annually, on the free agent market.
The Canucks' #53 is having a solid season this year, just in time to sign his new deal, with 20 goals and 29 points in 28 games so far.
Obviously not wanting to lose him for nothing, Vancouver will shop around for the best possible offer for their captain, which means that Horvat will definitely be traded by the trade deadline.
Horvat even commented on the situation by mentioning that he remains fully focused on the Canucks' current season and that he will help the team to the best of his abilities.
