The Edmonton Oilers will go into the 2024 NHLPlayoffs with a massive disadvantage, as they end the season with a packed schedule before starting up their playoff schedule.

With the 2024 NHL playoffs fast approaching, some fans are looking ahead to the end of the schedule to see how much rest their team might have before heading into the big dance. For the Edmonton Oilers, it looks like they might have a disadvantage, as they have a packed schedule right before the playoffs are set to begin.
Oilers play 5 games in the final 7 days of the season.

Even before that they have a crazy busy schedule.

Probably only going to get 2 day break before the playoffs start...Don't want to jinx anything but this is setting up perfectly.

The Oilers will have to figure out how they are going to best prepare for the first round of playoffs.

They have previously discussed resting stars McDavid and Draisaitl ahead of the playoffs and down the stretch. However, they might need to continue pushing for points in order to secure a good playoff position.
The Oilers have had their share of drama this year, and it seems like the beginning of the year was an entirely different team. Suffice it to say, they are seasoned when it comes to handling some adversity, and hopefully, that proves them well down the stretch.
