Camera Catches Evander Kane Arguing With Leon Draisaitl On the Oilers Bench

Oilers winger Evander Kane was caught on camera arguing with superstar center Leon Draisaitl as the Oilers were losing to the Toronto Maple Leafs. This is just the latest in a long history of altercations involving Kane.

The Toronto Maple Leafs handily defeated the Edmonton Oilers last night. Late in the game, one camera caught some drama on the Oilers bench. Winger Evander Kane appeared to be arguing with Leon Draisaitl.





Notably, Evander Kane has reportedly been causing locker room problems, leading to rumors that he might be traded. However, that clearly never came to fruition. Still though, there may be some truth to the rumors that he's a problem in the locker room. After all, Kane left his last team, the San Jose Sharks, when the team terminated his contract for violating the NHL's Covid-19 policy.



Draisaitl did play a prominent role in the game last night despite the altercation with Kane. He would score a 6 on 5 goal to cut the Leafs' lead to 5-3.



However, the Leafs would close out the remainder of the game, adding an empty netter from Auston Matthews, his 58th goal of the season and his first via the empty net.



Both teams are back in action today as the Leafs host Carolina and the Oilers visit Ottawa.
