Mitch Marner's Security team battles with fans on social media
Mitch Marner from the Toronto Maple Leafs has his own security crew, Rocket Security, and they're not just hanging back, they're actually getting into it with fans on Instagram.
Some fan went on a rant about why big-name players are ditching Toronto, blaming the whole culture there. Then, out of nowhere, Rocket Security jumped in, naming other players who've left the Leafs.
The controversy began hinting about Marner maybe moving to Utah with the Arizona Coyotes, who are relocating there next season.
And then, the drama escalated when they start arguing about who showed up in the playoffs. Thing is, Rocket Security didn't even watch the games! They were just going off what fans are saying.
To top it off, Mike Stephens talked on X (formerly Twitter), sharing screenshots and calling out Rocket Security for criticizing Marner's teammates too.
Now, if Marner sticks around, this could mess up his reputation. Fans are already saying he's the least-liked guy in the locker room.
