The Winnipeg Jets and the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a trade, that will see defenseman Luke Schenn head North of the Border. Luke Schenn is heading to Winnipeg, as the <a href='https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/winnipeg-jets-acquire-d-luke-schenn-from-pittsburgh-penguins-1.2266763' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Jets have made a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins</a> to acquire the veteran defenseman. He has one goal and four assists this season. In his career overall, he has suited up in a whopping 1,057 games, where he scored a total of 44 goals and added 159 assists, for a total of 203 points. <h3>Schenn was a Toronto Maple Leaf for a good portion of his career</h3> Schenn has been with the Predators since 2023, which was his seventh NHL team over his 17-year NHL career. He spent considerable time with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks. Pittsburgh acquired Schenn from the Nashville Predators along with forward Tommy Novak for Michael Bunting and a 2026 fourth-round pick just a couple of days ago. Schenn is under a contract for one more season at a $2.75 million cap hit.
