Tonight a prominent member of both the Vancouver and Calgary hockey communities has sadly and suddenly passed away. In his NHL career Millen had stops with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Quebec Nordiques, St. Louis Blues, Hartford Whalers, Detroit Red Wings, and Chicago Blackhawks. After his playing career ended Millen began the journey into broadcasting which began by covering the Ottawa Senators during their maiden voyage season before heading to Hockey Night in Canada. During his time as a broadcaster Millen was a mainstay on Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts across several markets including the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, and Winnipeg Jets.
