A new report has confirmed that one of the top targets on the trade market has fired his agent in pursuit of a trade.

Over the last couple of months, Yegor Chinakhov of the the Columbus Blue has been searching for a trade after not being happy with his role in Columbus.
Despite his clear and adamant trade request, the Blue Jackets still have not moved him even with interest from other teams throughout the summer.
Today, Chinakhov reportedly made a move to try and further his chances of being traded by firing his agent Shumi Babaev.
With his future unclear and a new agent in charge trade talks are expected to heat up.

Now, with Chinakhov needing a new home and ready to force his way out of Columbus Stan Bowman and Patrik Allvin could swoop in and take a swing on a low-risk but high-reward trade.
Chinakhov, 24 tallied 15 points in 30 NHL games despite being given limited ice-time by the Blue Jackets.
With both the Oilers and Canucks dealing with injury issues they could use a boost to the lineup and Chinakhov is a proven common with some potential upside as well.
Now, it will be up to Patrik Allvin and Stan Bowman to determine if their respective teams need a player like Chinakhov to fill in the gaps.
