Kyle Connor scored the game-winning overtime goal for the Jets last night against the Oilers, which had Winnipeg reach the 100-point mark in the fastest time ever.

The Winnipeg Jets did not waste any time proving Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Vancouver was an anomaly.
Kyle Connor locked down a hard-fought 4-3 overtime win against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday, as the Jets beat another Western Conference contender.
Edmonton was missing league-leading goal-scorer Leon Draisaitl and was further hurt when Connor McDavid departed in the third period with an upper-body injury. Goaltender Stuart Skinner left late in regulation after a crease collision.

McDavid and Draisaitl will have imaging done later today to determine injuries

There was no post-game update on McDavid, although it was announced by Frank Seravalli that he is expected to have imaging later today, as will Draisaitl as well.

It only took 70 games for the Jets to hit 100 points

Winnipeg accumulated 100 points for just the third time in franchise history and did so in a franchise-record 70 games, four fewer than its former high in 2017-18, thanks to Connor's goal.
Zach Hyman tied the game 3-3 with 5:34 left in regulation, but the Jets won the extra point in overtime.
After Connor Hellebuyck made a big save on Hyman, Winnipeg maintained strong possession in Edmonton's zone before Connor blasted his 37th of the year past backup goalie Calvin Pickard just 1:13 into OT.
Cole Perfetti, Josh Morrissey, and Chris Tanev all found the back of the net for the Jets (48-18-4), who defeated an opponent for the fourth time in five contests. Connor emphasized the importance of bouncing back after Tuesday's poor effort.
"You can definitely fall into that trap of getting complacent, but that's been a focal point every single day for us; leave the game behind and focus on the next one, and the task at hand," he said.

"And we have to match the desperation. The other night, we were facing a team in Vancouver who was on the line fighting for a playoff spot and we weren't able to match it."

Hellebuyck stopped 20 shots to pick up the win, going 40-10-3, five victories shy of a franchise best.
