The Winnipeg Jets are rolling into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but with two key players injured, Head Coach Scott Arniel has now provided a major update.

From the moment the puck dropped in 2024/25, the Winnipeg Jets have been arguably the NHL's best team, as they are likely to roll into the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
However, they're once again dealing with injury issues at the wrong time of year, as the team have been without Gabe Vilardi and Neal Pionk for a few games now, with fears from the fanbase that they could be missing key games late in the season.
Ahead of their next game, Head Coach Scott Arniel has given updates on both.

Scott Arniel Gives A Pair Of Key Injury Updates

Starting with the bad news revolving around Vilardi, who may not be ready before the post-season begins in a few weeks.
That's not a good sign for the Jets, who have seen immense production from Vilardi in their top-nine this season as he has already well surpassed his career high in scoring with 61 points on the season thus far.
As for Pionk, the news is a little bit more positive, as the veteran blue liner is making his way back, with Arniel stating that he's getting closer to a return late in the season.
With the potential to do something special in 2024/25, the Jets are hoping that both can get back on the ice for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and if that happens, the sky is the limit for this incredibly impressive Jets team this season.
