Winnipeg Jets forward Morgan Barron believes he has more to offer this season and teased that he has another level that he is ready to unlock this year.

There could be additional untapped offensive potential in Winnipeg Jets forward Morgan Barron.
His third-period shorthanded goal in the season opener, a 5-4 loss to the visiting Dallas Stars on Thursday, provided glimpses of a player who can do more. The goal sparked a three-goal burst and featured speed, strength, and a finish.

Morgan Barron is Ready to Build on His Career Highs From Last Season

Barron, a fourth-line center who was coming off career highs of 11 goals and 21 points, scored at 9:53 of the third period.
He sped past Mikko Rantanen, fended off Justin Hryckowian, and beat goaltender Jake Oettinger with a backhand to the glove side. Barron teased that fans could be in for a treat as he has more to give in order to help his team win.
"I feel like I have another level to give (on offence), given that I'm confident in my abilities to do that and something I want to keep building on," Barron said after the team's Friday morning skate downtown.

Kyle Connor scored consecutive goals to finish off his hat trick and bring the deficit to one. The Jets had a chance to even the game after Thomas Harley was penalized for delay of game at 17:04, but couldn't capitalize.
Barron centered a line with newcomers Tanner Pearson and Cole Koepke and played 10:03 of ice time.
If his opening night goal is any indication, Barron might be ready to further develop his offensive game and take another step forward this season.
