Frank Seravalli takes shots at Michael Buble and Elias Pettersson
Michael Buble recently called out Frank Seravalli, and now, the top NHL insider has blasted back at the Grammy Award winning Canucks fan.
Last season, drama followed the Vancouver Canucks wherever they went, and in 2025/26, they were clearly trying to get away from that and focus on the goal of reaching the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Unfortunately, the team are struggling, with reports that several veterans are up for grabs on the trade market, all of this before Grammy Award winner Michael Bublé shocked the NHL world by calling out the Canucks and Insider Frank Seravalli.
Frank is probably a really good guy. I don't know Frank well, but if Frank Servalli is a Canucks insider, then the 40-year-old virgin was a porn star.
Frank Seravalli fires back at Michael Bublé
On Monday, Seravalli took the chance to fire back, and instead of having fun with it, it appears as though Seravalli went personal, calling out Bublé for naming his child after an 'overrated NHLer' in the Insider's eyes.
I found it very odd. I guess in the end, I would expect nothing less of someone who has named one of his children after perhaps the NHL's most overpaid player.
That child would be 'Elias', born in 2026 as the second child of Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato, with Seravalli seemingly taking the chance to call out Canucks superstar Elias Pettersson in the process.
Ultimately, this has been one of the strangest interactions we've seen between an NHL reporter and a celebrity in quite some time, and whether or not you agree with either man, it's safe to say that the drama away from the ice in Vancouver continues in 2025/26.
