Vancouver Canucks head coach Adam Foote announced an update on starting goaltender Thatcher Demko, who left Saturday's loss against the Toronto Maple Leafs with an injury.
There's not much going right for the Vancouver Canucks these days, who continue to sink lower in the standings and just dropped their sixth straight game, 5-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs in Toronto.
And it wasn't the only loss of the night for the floundering Canucks, as starting goaltender Thatcher Demko, who has a troubling history of injuries, exited the game with another injury.
Per Canucks analyst Thomas Drance, it was a lower-body injury and head coach Adam Foote said that he'll be re-evaluated.

Demko wasn't getting the job done for the Canucks before he was hurt, allowing three goals on the six shots he faced. He was replaced by Kevin Lankinen.
Thatcher Demko Has A Long History Of Injuries
This is just the latest in what has become a pattern of injuries for Demko, who most infamously was hurt at the start of the 2024 playoffs and was able to play only one game before getting replaced by Casey DeSmith and later, Arturs Silovs.
Demko already missed 12 straight games earlier this year for the Canucks with a lower-body injury.
He starts a new three year contract on July 1 that he signed with an AAV (average annual value) of $8.5 million.
