This afternoon, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch has shared an update on Tristan Jarry's highly anticipated return to the lineup.
The Edmonton Oilers acquired Tristan Jarry from the Pittsburgh Penguins hoping he would stabilize their goaltending position.
After playing just three games and struggling to adjust in Edmonton Jarry went out with an injury and has missed nearly a month of game action.
Over the last month, the Oilers have begun playing better hockey overall but still have struggled in the net needing a stabilizing force like Jarry to return and provide some hope.
Today, Jarry returned to a full team skate for the first time since the injury sparking hope that a return could be around the corner.
During an interview, head coach Kris Knoblauch was able to provide an official update on Jarry's impending return.

After practice, Kris Knoblauch confirmed that the team hopes he will be able to return to game action this upcoming week.

As of now, it remains unclear whether or not Jarry will require a rehab stint in the AHL or slot right back into the Oilers' goalie tandem.
The next few days of practice for Jarry should determine a lot about his game status.
In three appearances with the Oilers Jarry has a 3.08 goals against average and a 0.887 save percentage.
If Jarry continues to struggle in his return from injury the Oilers could be forced to make yet another move in goal to stabilize things.
