Oilers recall goalie from the AHL after Tristan Jarry's injury

The Oilers have recalled goalie Connor Ingram from AHL Bakersfield after Tristan Jarry suffered an injury in last night's game vs. the Bruins.
The Edmonton Oilers find themselves suddenly short on goaltenders due to a lower-body problem that goalie Tristan Jarry has incurred, which he suffered on Thursday night playing the Boston Bruins. According to Ryan Rishaug, Jarry will return to Edmonton for further evaluation.
He left the game in the middle of the second period after he made a crease play that appeared to injure him, and Calvin Pickard entered the game.

Kris Knoblauch didn't have any comments regarding the play, but Pickard felt that the injury "didn't look good."
This marked the third start Jarry has made for Edmonton since they acquired the netminder from the Pittsburgh Penguins in return for Stuart Skinner.
This year alone, in 16 games played for both Pittsburgh and Edmonton, the 30-year-old goalie has a save percentage and a goals-against average of .905 and 2.77.
To fill the gap, the Oilers are bringing up goalie Connor Ingram from the AHL. The 28-year-old goalie has been playing for Bakersfield since October, having previously arrived from the Utah Mammoth.
Why Connor Ingram may not be the answer for the Oilers
This season, Ingram has struggled in the AHL, with 11 appearances, including a 4.04 GAA and a save percentage of .856.
In the previous season with Utah, he registered a record of 9-8-4 with a GAA of 3.27 and a save percentage of .882 in 22 appearances.
With Jarry's situation uncertain, Ingram could fill an important role to see just how deep Edmonton's goaltending truly is during this important stretch of games.
