Former Edmonton Oilers forward Milan Lucic, who also played for the divisional for Calgary Flames, is under fire for his recent actions in a Scottish League game.

Former Edmonton Oilers forward Milan Lucic did not get an NHL contract for this year despite his comeback effort, and rather than retire, chose to move overseas and play hockey in the United Kingdom.
He's currently with the Fife Flyers of the Elite Ice Hockey League, and was seen getting into a conflict with his teammate after a recent game.
Cameras caught him pushing and shoving while barking at teammate Logan Neilson as the team skated onto the ice after the final horn blew.
The two were eventually separated by the rest of their teammates.
So far this year with the Flyers, Lucic has 11 points (5G, 6A) in 19 games.

Milan Lucic Did Not Earn A Contract From The St. Louis Blues For This Year

Lucic, who was attempting another comeback in the NHL, signed a PTO (professional tryout agreement) with the St. Louis Blues before the current season began, and even though he played in multiple preseason games, he was not offered a deal for the year .
Lucic spent several years with the Boston Bruins, with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2011 and went to another Stanley Cup Final in 2013, before eventually playing for the Los Angeles Kings.
He then signed a massive contract with the Oilers in 2016, and despite some early success, his stats started to go down. He was eventually traded to the divisional foe Calgary Flames for James Neal, and later played against the Oilers in a Flames sweater during the first Battle of Alberta playoff round in decades in 2022.
In 1,177 NHL games, Lucic has 584 points (233G, 353A).
