Kane responded by admitting spending time with his teammates and making a lifetime of memories and a bond with the guys in the locker room will stick with him most. It's tough to say just one thing. On and off the ice, so many great memories. Really enjoyed my time there. Special place, special group of guys, a lot of great teams. A lot of on and off ice success there, friendships and relationships that will last a lifetime. Nothing but great memories. Kane arrived to the Oilers after his career was on the ropes due to some off the ice issues that led to his release from the San Jose Sharks. Signing with the Oilers allowed Kane to get his career back on track and salvaged his reputation as a respected veteran in the NHL. Now, Kane will look to continue building upon his favorable career renaissance and lead the Vancouver Canucks back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2025-26.
