Tonight, Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch spoke to the media and was able to provide a disappointing update on the injury suffered by Tristan Jarry.

The Edmonton Oilers acquired Tristan Jarry just last weekend hoping he would provide a major boost to the lineup.
In his first action, Jarry looked solid but was injured shortly after suffering an unknown ailment against the Boston Bruins just three days ago.
After being removed from the game, head coach Kris Knoblauch spoke to the media and confirmed that Jarry would need to undergo further evaluation.
Now, Knoblauch has confirmed that Jarry will miss significant time due to the injury he suffered.

Tristan Jarry to miss multiple weeks after suffering injury against the Boston Bruins

According to an announcement made by head coach Kris Knoblauch, Tristan Jarry will miss multiple weeks due to the injury he suffered.
With Jarry out, the Oilers will now heavily rely on Calvin Pickard who fans are familiar with but also Connor Ingram who was claimed off of waivers earlier this season.
So far this season, Pickard has appeared in 13 games with a frightening 3.93 goals against average and a 0.861 save percentage while Ingram has yet to play an NHL game but struggled in the AHL while working his way back from an extended absence.
If that duo struggles to produce, GM Stan Bowman could have to consider yet another trade to address the goaltender position in Jarry's absence.
As more updates are provided on Jarry's recovery and the Oilers plans in goal going forward we will pass them along to you.
