The Edmonton Oilers have announced that forward Jack Roslovic has officially been activated off Injured Reserve, and that they've also placed Connor Clattenburg on Long Term Injured Reserve.
The Edmonton Oilers have announced several roster moves, including activating a player off Injured Reserve while placing another player on Long Term Injured Reserve.
They've announced that forward Jack Roslovic, who is playing in his first year in an Oilers sweater, has been activated. But they have also put forward Connor Clattenburg on Long Term Injured Reserve.
They have also loaned forward Quinn Hutson to the American Hockey League affiliate Bakersfield Condors.
Roslovic, who was signed as a UFA before the season began, has 18 points (10G, 8A) in 23 games played.
Hutson had a key role in Edmonton's recent win over the Boston Bruins, scoring the GWG, which was also his first goal in the NHL.
The Oilers Could Be Forced Into Making Another Goaltending Move
The Oilers pulled off a major trade last week, acquiring Tristan Jarry and Sam Poulin from the Pittsburgh Penguins and sending Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak back to Pittsburgh in return.
But in just his third start in an Oilers sweater against the Bruins, Jarry was hurt, and there haven't been any encouraging updates on his condition.
The Oilers have since called up Connor Ingram from the Condors, but he has the worst SV% of any goalie at the AHL level. Backup Calvin Pickard, who was thrust into action because of Jarry's injury, has the worst SV% of any eligible goalie at the NHL level.
If Jarry is hurt long-term, there have been rumours that Oilers GM Stan Bowman could be forced into making yet another goaltending move.
