Last night's game between the Oilers and Blues was a rough one, and Connor Brown has broken his silence on the fists that Jordan Binnington threw at Corey Perry.

Corey Perry has a tendency to get under the skin of foes, and they were all out Wednesday night.
The hard-nosed Edmonton Oilers forward gassed the flames when he had a run-in with St. Louis Blues goalie Jordan Binnington, adding another page to his book on being one of the league's top agitators.

The Oilers escaped with an important two points

It was an incendiary moment in an otherwise fiery game between the two Western Conference foes that ended in an Oilers 4-3 victory.
Though Perry doesn't see big minutes, he maximizes the ones he does get. He's a pest, his style of play is gritty, and he never shies away from a fight.
Following the game, Connor Brown spoke about Perry's collision with Binnington, nodding to the kind of chaos that Perry is able to create.
"I just love it," Brown chuckled. "I just love watching him (Perry) go to work. Whether he's mixing it up or he's dangling behind the net, he's just a fun guy to watch. A fun guy to be teammates with."

Brown then talked about Binnington.

"That was a healthy left hand he gave him," Brown said, "it was a bit of a melee after that."
The play had Binnington assessed two separate roughing minors, and Perry was handed a fighting major and a penalty for goaltender interference.
It was not a highlight-reel outing for either team, but it was a dogged win for an Oilers roster still without two of their top three centers. In games like that, it's good enough to grind out two points.
Perry still gives the Oilers some energy and an edge. Along with the physicality, he's also chipped in offensively, with 16 goals playing less than 12 minutes per evening.
His ability to agitate and produce on the scoreboard makes him a good asset for Edmonton's lineup.
