Andrew Mangiapane addresses his future in Edmonton after recent scratch
During a pre-game interview Mangiapane was asked about all of the rumors surrounding his future in Edmonton.
Mangiapane first open up about his feeling after being scratched being angry and disappointed about being left out.
Obviously a little angry that you're not playing last game but it's kind of behind us now just focused on tonight and to go back out there and play my game.
He then was asked about rumors of a potential trade and admitted that those decisions are up to his agent and he is happy to be in Edmonton and will do his best when he is called upon to play.
To be honest I'm not really sure. That's kind of the business side of it I'm happy to be here and be with this team. We will see how things play out but that's beyond my control. I'll just continue to focus on playing my game and helping this team win hockey games.
While Mangiapane says he is happy no player wants to be a healthy scratch and if Kris Knoblauch does not see a permanent place in the lineup for Mangiapane a trade is still more likely than not.
As this situation continues to play out we will pass along all of the latest details on Mangiapane's future in Edmonton and beyond.
