This afternoon the Winnipeg Jets have pulled off another trade with the Buffalo Sabres just before the deadline involving Tanner Pearson.
Over the last couple of days, the Winnipeg Jets have become clear sellers getting rid of several veterans on expiring contracts sending them to contending teams.
This afternoon, that has continued as the Jets have announced a trade sending veteran forward Tanner Pearson to the Buffalo Sabres.

According to multiple reports, the Jets and Sabres are in agreement on a deal centered around Tanner Pearson.
The Sabres will be sending a 7th-round pick back to the Jets for Pearson's services.
This will be the second trade the Sabres and Jets have pulled off in the last 24 hours with Logan Stanley and Luke Schenn heading to Buffalo last night.
This trade from Kevin Cheveldayoff and the Jets is essentially a favor to the veteran Pearson to allow him to chase a Stanley Cup on a contending team.
Pearson will bring a veteran presence and Stanley Cup pedigree to a young and hungry Buffalo group looking to break their playoff drought.
In return, the Jets add another pick that can be used to bring in a prospect or potentially used next year in a trade if the Jets are back in the playoff race.
As the trade deadline wraps up, it will be interesting to hear Kevin Cheveldayoff's perspective on the moves he made at the deadline.
