Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's sister Katie makes a statement regarding her brothers untimely passing
Today a new statement has come out on Instagram from the sister of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau after their tragic passing.
This afternoon the continued support of the Gaudreau family through the tragic loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau was acknowledged by Katie Gaudreau. The Gaudreau family was in town for Katie Gaudreau's wedding when Johnny and Matthew were tragically struck by an allegedly intoxicated driver.
A post on Instagram by Katie Gaudreau shared a heartfelt message to her brothers and promised to always keep their memories alive. Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau had a major impact on the hockey community but clearly an even bigger impact on their family which is now tragically grieving.
The world has come together in support of the Gaudreau family since the tragic news was announced. A GoFundMe was created to support Madeline Gaudreau the widow of Matthew. The link to the GoFundMe can be found below if you would like to donate.
As the entire world including the Gaudreau family processes their grief we continue to send condolences, support, and thoughts to the family.
