It was a lively game last night, as the Habs were very undisciplined, receiving no less than seven minor penalties in the game.

In fact, forward Kirby Dach took three penalties, including a four minute penalty, after he obviously said something that the officials didn't like.
Head coach Martin St-Louis expressed his displeasure with the situation in a post-game press conference.
Now, everyone was wondering what number 77 said to get an extra two minutes for abuse towards the officials. Let's just say that it normally takes a lot, because referees are used to hearing a lot of bitching on the ice.
Review the clip in question:

As reported by my Habs and NHL colleague William Nadeau, according to the (self-proclaimed) lip-reading experts, Dach allegedly called the referee a "Bi**ch", which would explain the extra penalty for abuse of the officials.
It must be said that referees are used to hearing challenges and bitching following their decisions, but apparently Dach is crossing the line.
Obviously, the 21-year-old was right to be frustrated, but that's certainly no reason to lose your cool on the ice, and thus put your team in trouble for four minutes, especially since the Senators had just scored two power play goals just before.
Do you think the officiating was good yesterday?
