During the match between the Penguins and the Dallas Stars in Pittsburgh, a disturbing scene unfolded. John Ludvig, playing in his first NHL game, remained motionless on the ice after a violent contact, suggesting that he had lost consciousness. Fortunately, he eventually regained consciousness, but had difficulty getting up, thus ending his game. He will undergo medical examinations in hospital.
