General manager Kent Hughes of the Montreal Canadiens has yet to conclude a trade for his goaltenders.

Hughes is looking to trade Cayden Primeau or Jake Allen at a reasonable price, but the offers have been disappointing.
The Maple Leafs have offered a 6th-round pick for a goalie, turned down by all teams, including the Canadiens.
Names targeted by Toronto included Dan Vladar, Jake Allen, Eric Comrie and Anton Forsberg.
"Elliotte Friedman suggests that Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving offered several teams a sixth-round pick for a goalie, which each team turned down. He would have hoped that one team would be desperate enough to trade for one.

Sportsnet's Luke Fox speculates that Dan Vladar (Flames), Jake Allen (Canadiens), Eric Comrie (Sabres) and Anton Forsberg (Senators) were among the goalies targeted by Toronto."
Allen, with a record of 4-7-2 this season, has a contract until 2025 and earns 3.85 million per season.
