Bruins Defender Told to Leave the Game Because of Too Much Blood on His Jersey
When it comes to hockey players, if they can still skate, they will want to play. So when a player gets a mouthful of his own teeth knocked around, they are still ready to go. In the case of Boston Bruins Mason Lohrei, he is no exception.
Watch as he takes a deflected puck right in his grill.
Sounds like he lost some chiclets, that's gonna disrupt his night a bit. pic.twitter.com/bMSrmhW1Vu— Mr. Tenkrat (@PeterTenkrat) January 3, 2024
It looks like Lohrei may be in for a visit with a dentist tomorrow. Possibly even some stitching on his mouth. After coming off the ice to the bench for the trainers to take a look, it was noticed that the amount of blood on his sweater was too much to return to play.
Haha attaboy, looks like he needs to go back for more work or needs a new jersey too much blood on this one. pic.twitter.com/z9pl2Z6m6T— Mr. Tenkrat (@PeterTenkrat) January 3, 2024
After leaving for some repairs in the locker room, and a new jersey, Lohrei was back on the bench and ready to go.

In my opinion there are no tougher players in sports then in hockey.
