New Top Line for the Oilers Comes Alive at Training Camp

Oilers New Top Line Reunites Former Teammates
Although it is only training camp, the Oilers are sporting what appears to be a new top line in Connor McDavid, Connor Brown, and Evander Kane. Brown was an acquisition made this offseason and is a former teammate of McDavid during their junior days with the Erie Otters.
This McDavid guy might crack the opening night roster
Connor Brown is a tough-nosed player of a similar style to Zach Hyman, who would create space and puck possession for McDavid. It will be interesting to see if the new addition can make his case for top-line minutes.
New Year, New Chemistry for Evander Kane and Connor McDavid
The other new potential addition to the top line is Evander Kane. Kane and McDavid have had some nice chemistry through the first few days of training camp.
97 ➡️ 91 to open the scrimmage scoring on #Oilers Fan Day!
It would be interesting to see how Edmonton can spread their offensive talent out this year, potentially having Leon Draisaitl play on a second line that would effectively act as a second first line. With a lot of time left in training camp, its unlikely even Oilers staff know what their lines will shake out to be.
