Bruins Looking to Trade For Three-Time Stanley Cup Winning Forward

The Boston Bruins are looking to shore up their roster to make a long push into the playoffs, and they have their sights set on this 3-time Cup Winner who brings the physicality the Bruins are lacking.

The Bruins Reportedly Looking at Pat Maroon For Potential Trade

The Boston Bruins are looking to be the frontrunner for potential favourites to win the Stanley Cup this season. Coming out to a hot start, the Bruins still need to add some depth to their lineup if they want to ensure their odds of making a long push into the offseason.

With Milan Lucic likely out for the season, the Bruins are looking for a physical forward who knows how to win in the post-season. Now, it looks like they may have found what they are looking for in Pat Maroon. An NHL executive had this to say about Maroon's trade availability.

«I'm starting to hear his name out there.»

Maroon is exactly the type of big, physical forward that Bruins GM Don Sweeney likes to target.

Maroon Knows How To Win Stanley Cups

Maroon is one of few NHL players who has managed to hoist the Stanley Cup three times over his head, and definitely brings the knowledge of how to win to the Bruins locker room. If he were to be traded to the Bruins, he would fit nicely into the gap created by the loss of Milan Lucic, playing a similar style of game.

Pat Maroon has 7 points already this season, as many as Matthew Tkachuk and Nathan MacKinnon.

He's also still hilarious on the ice. Definitely miss him in Tampa.

With the trade deadline looming in the distance, it's clear that teams like the Bruins are surveying their options now in order to get a grip on what moves they need to make in the new year.
