Bad news for the Habs: Season over for another player in the organization
It's not just in Montreal that the injury list is horribly long, as the Laval Rocket also has to deal with its own set of injuries, as well as numerous recalls with the big club.
But now, another young regular defenseman of the organization is seriously injured, while we just learned that the season of young Otto Leskinen is unfortunately over:
"Defenseman Otto Leskinen underwent surgery on January 25 due to an injury to his left hip. This injury ends his season." - Laval Rocket
The 25-year-old Finnish defenseman has eight points with the Rocket this season, as well as 22 penalty minutes.
He played six games with the Montreal Canadiens and earns $750,000 a year.
