After a dirty hit Rasmus Andersson laid on Patrik Laine, the NHL DPOS has decided to suspend the Swedish defenseman.

Andersson Suspended For Hit On Laine

Last night the Flames lost to the Blue Jackets and in the final seconds of the game, defenseman Rasmus Andersson let his emotions get the best of him.

Andersson catches Laine with a hit in the dying seconds of the game.

Andersson was assessed a five-minute major penalty for this hit and had a meeting with the NHL Department of Player Safety today.
The NHL DPOS has made a decision on how many games Andersson will miss because of this hit.
Calgary's Rasmus Andersson has been suspended for four games for Charging Columbus' Patrik Laine.

The suspension will certainly turn some heads and it seems like most will want a longer suspension given how the hit was in the final seconds of the game.
