Jim Montgomery Benches Star Player After Off Ice Incident
The Boston Bruins are off to a perfect start this season, as they sit 3-0-0 through three games, but now, one of their key players is facing disciplinary action.
DeBrusk benched

After missing a mandatory team meeting, it has been revealed that Jake DeBrusk will be missing the teams next game against the Kings, according to Head Coach Jim Montgomery.
Per Coach Montgomery, Jake DeBrusk was late to a team meeting and will not play tonight in Los Angeles.
Repeat occurence
Unsurprisingly, this is not the first time in recent Bruins memory that this has happened, as Tyler Seguin was famously scratched for missing team practice, and fans were quick to draw the parallel's between the two instances.
Ultimately though, DeBrusk, who picked up 50 points in 64 games a season ago with Boston should be back in the following game, and if it doesn't happen again, the consequences aren't likely to linger.
