BREAKING: Major Update in the Career of Gabriel Landeskog

Published January 11, 2024 at 2:22 PM

After missing the past season and a half due to injury, many thought the career of Gabriel Landeskog was over, but now there may be another twist in the story.

Avalanche captain returns to the ice

While he's certainly not going to take the ice for Colorado anytime soon, Gabriel Landeskog has now been spotted back on the ice, a major development for the veteran forward.

This is a development.

Gabriel Landeskog is skating.

After undergoing a cartilage transplant in his right knee, he was quickly ruled out for the 2023-24 campaign, and after not playing a game since the team lifted the Stanley Cup, there was a thought that he could be done.

This however is a major positive, and if he can continue to work on his knee and get better, there's no reason that the 31-year old can't suit up for his Avalanche once more.
