In breaking news, the Chicago Blackhawks announced an important contract extension.

Blackhawks Extend Dickinson to Two-Year Deal

The organization announced that the 28-year-old forward Jason Dickinson has signed a two-year, $4.5 million AAV extension in Chicago.
Two years, $4.25 million cap hit
This comes only a few days after the Blackhawks extended the veteran Nick Foligno to a two-year contract.
This season, he has 21 points in 43 games with the Blackhawks, but most importantly, emerged as a true leader in the locker room.
