Based on the Montreal Canadiens' most recent update on the matter, all indications were that forward Brendan Gallagher would be able to return to the game relatively quickly.
However, for the past few hours, a rumour has been circulating that his injury is much more serious than expected and that he will have to mis more time.
Well, it is now confirmed. See the last minute statement from the CH organization:
"Brendan Gallagher will be out for a minimum of six weeks due to a lower body injury." - Montreal Canadiens
