Capitals forward Max Pacioretty has been plagued by injuries throughout his career, especially in recent seasons. He missed nearly all of 2023 with two Achilles tears tear but now he back and set to make his debut tonight as the Capitals take on the New Jersey Devils.

Pacioretty To Return In Game Against New Jersey

The 35-year-old is reportedly set to make his 2023-24 season debut with the Capitals tonight as he is coming off another effectively season-long injury he sustained last January. The Capitals are hoping that he can contribute right away as the team is holding onto a tenuous grip on a playoff spot.
Max Pacioretty 🇺🇸🇲🇽 will make his season debut for the #Capitals 🇺🇸 tonight against New Jersey.

Pacioretty played just five games last season with Carolina, due to him suffering two separate torn Achilles'.

The Capitals technically currently hold the 1st wildcard spot in the eastern conference based on points. If Pacioretty can return to the form he showed in his limited playing time last season, he could be a huge boost to the club's offense, which has struggled largely in part due to Alex Ovechkin's struggles with scoring this year. Luckily, the team is coming off a key victory against the Penguins.
The Capitals and Pacioretty will take on the Devils tonight at 7:30 EST.
