This evening Winnipeg Jets head coach Scott Arniel has provided a crucial update on the health of Dylan Samberg after he left tonight's contest against the Edmonton Oilers.

In the first period of the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers contest Dylan Samberg went down on a play which led to a goal for the Edmonton Oilers.
After blocking a Connor McDavid shot, Samberg was helped off the ice by a pair of teammates and was eventually ruled out for the rest of the game.
The goal by the Oilers would count leading to outrage from fans who believed play should have been stopped so medical personnel could attend to Samberg.
After the game during his post game press conference head coach Scott Arniel spoke to the media and gave an update on Samberg's health and prognosis going forward.

Scott Arniel Provides Crucial Update On Dylan Samberg

While Samberg left the game in the first period and failed to return there is at least some good news.
According to Arniel, the injury caused by the shot from McDavid did not lead to any serious damage for Samberg.
Luckily Samberg has avoided serious injury he will be evaluated again tomorrow to see if his condition worsens at all after the game ends.
After such a scary moment on the ice Samberg escaping with just a minor injury is a huge sigh of relief for Arniel and the Jets heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
