Tonight, the Vancouver Canucks lost yet another key player to injury as Conor Garland left tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Vancouver Canucks 2025-26 season has been severely derailed by injuries beginning with Filip Chytil suffering a concussion early in the season.
Since then, the Canucks have lost several key players including most recently Thatcher Demko who suffered a lower-body injury and will be out for multiple weeks.
Now, tonight Conor Garland suffered an injury that forced him to miss a big chunk of tonight's game against the Lightning.

Conor Garland suffers injury after physical altercation

During tonight's game Garland was mysteriously ruled out despite not suffering a clear and obvious injury at any point.
Garland is not a player who is typically used to having to fight which likely led to the awkward moment that caused the injury.
After the game concluded, Canucks' head coach Adam Foote addressed the media and confirmed that Garland suffered the injury during a fight against Darren Raddysh.
Luckily, Foote seems not too concerned about Garland's long-term injury outlook which is fantastic news considering the Canucks' recent luck.
Even with this positive update from Foote, it will be crucial to follow Garland's health and status during morning skates and practices before tomorrow's game against the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.
If the Canucks are going to be without Garland for multiple games they will once again have to look for production from unexpected players if they are going to stay in the Stanley Cup Playoff race.
As more updates are provided on Garland's health and status for tomorrow night's contest we will pass along that news to you.
