Patrik Allvin shares a frustrating injury update on goaltender Thatcher Demko

Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin recently disclosed unfortunate injury news on goaltender Thatcher Demko, who is considered week to week.
The Vancouver Canucks have experienced multiple injury issues this season, as players like Teddy Blueger, Filip Chytil, Thatcher Demko, Nils Hoglander and Victor Mancini have all missed time.
Based on the latest news from GM Patrik Allvin, Demko isn't going to be back any time soon, as he's been designated as week to week.

The Canucks lost Demko during Tuesday's game with what they called a lower-body injury.
It's the latest injury concern for Demko, who has been injury prone throughout his NHL career despite having emerged as one of the best goalies in the NHL and a candidate for the American team in the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.
So far this year, Demko is 5-4 with a .903 SV%.

Allvin also provided updates on forward Filip Chytil, saying that he's been in Vancouver around the rest of his teammates.
He's been in Vancouver. Adam must have probably misunderstood the question. I don't know if he was answering, if he was in the rink or not, but he's been in Vancouver the whole time, and he's actually skating, and he's trending and feeling better. Allvin also said that Blueger is back in Vancouver and is skating as well.
The Canucks are playing in their first year with former Colorado Avalanche defenseman Adam Foote as their head coach after the departure of Rick Tocchet to the Philadelphia Flyers.
