Winnipeg Jets prospect Garrett Brown was hurt in a scary incident during a game last night, but thankfully managed to avoid a serious injury.

Winnipeg Jets prospect defenseman Garrett Brown, who is currently playing with the University of Denver, was hurt in a scary scene during a game last night, requiring him to be stretchered off the ice.
Thankfully, he managed to avoid a serious injury that could have been far worse.
The University of Denver's social media account shared the following update based on what head coach David Carle said:
David Carle said postgame that Garrett Brown returned to the arena right as the game was ending, and that x-rays were negative. Absolutely fantastic news.

Carle himself then released the following update, saying that Brown was already back at the arena with his teammates.
He's (back) here (at the arena) so there's the fact that he's been released from the hospital. I know about as much as you do. You can infer that things went well at the hospital and now he's back with the guys, which is wonderful news. It was precautionary, but they thought they would probably have to keep him overnight is what I heard. So the fact that he is back is really positive. Big relief obviously for our team and our staff and his parents.

Garrett Brown Was Taken By The Jets In The 2022 NHL Entry Draft

Brown was taken by the Jets with the 99th pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft while he was playing for the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL.
He also played for Waterloo Black Hawks before starting his collegiate career at the University of Denver.
So far this year, Brown has five assists in 12 games.
