Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Kale Clague, and Samuel Fagemo all hit the waiver wire for the Jets today.

Loading from Twitter ...

Loading from Twitter ...

The Jets have the intention of assigning all four players to their junior club, but some of these players may attract the attention of other teams.
Former #10 Overall Pick Tyson Jost was Claimed by the Nashville Predators
A former number 10 overall pick was also claimed today, as the Nashville Predators picked up Tyson Jost after he was placed on waivers yesterday by the Carolina Hurricanes. The 27-year-old played 39 games with the Hurricanes last season, where he scored four goals and had a total of nine points in 39 games, numbers far below what was expected of a player picked so high in the draft. Jost was originally selected 10th overall by the Colorado Avalanche back in the 2016 NHL Draft. Across 495 NHL games with the Hurricanes, Avalanche, Minnesota Wild, and Buffalo Sabres, he scored 61 goals and 149 points. Expectations were high for Jost, but he simply has not lived up to the hype. This would explain why he has bounced around so many teams. Here's hoping he can excel with the Predators going forward. The Hurricanes didn't stop at just claiming Jost, as the team also waived Gavin Bayreuther, Noel Gunler, Josiah Slavin, and Ryan Suzuki yesterday, but all four cleared and were assigned to the AHL's Chicago Wolves. As for today, Carolina did not waive any more players, so it was a much calmer day in that sense for the team.
