Scott Arniel finally confirms when Cole Perfetti will make his season debut for the Winnipeg Jets

Through 14 games this season, last season's Western Conference No. 1 seed the Winnipeg Jets have posted a 9-5-0 record, and while they've not been perfect, they're once again showing that they'll be a top contender in 2025/26.

This is a team that's certainly battled through injuries, especially to their blue line, but perhaps the biggest absence for Winnipeg to this point has been young winger Cole Perfetti, who is yet to appear for the team this season.

Now, Scott Arniel has revealed that Perfetti is set to make his season debut on Sunday night when the team are on the road against the high-flying Anaheim Ducks, a team that's clearly taken a major leap forward thus far in 2025/26.

Last year was a career best for Perfetti in Winnipeg, with the 23-year old posting 18 goals and 50 points in 82 games played, and while he doesn't lead the team in scoring, he's still clearly a key piece of this team moving forward.

With Perfetti's return, the Jets will build on one of the deepest rosters in the entire NHL, and with all of their stars bringing their best game early in the year, the addition of Perfetti will make this forward group even tougher to play against.

It's expected that the former first-round pick will play alongside Vladislav Nametsnikov and Jonathan Toews, and behind their superstar top line, this is a fantastic top-six that simply can't be taken lightly.
